Choosing the correct imagery and having the proper expectation for a walk-in tattoo is paramount. Things to remember when you are asking for a walk in. Design, size of the design, location on your body, your budget and availability of artists. When deciding on your next walk-in tattoo you should take the following into consideration.
Designs are why we are here of course, creating or recreating your idea day of can come with time. We ask that you to have patience in this process. Something like script is can be very fast to get you into your session, but something like a carefully crafted design could take a bit longer. Knowing this we ask not to put pressure onto the artist in rushing any of the processes, it typically doesn’t work in the designs or your favor.
Size of the design can really determine if something is possible for a walk-in. Let’s say you come in early when the shop opens, this will greatly increase your chances of getting something medium to large. On the other hand coming in 1-2 hours prior to the studio closes, these tattoos are better suited for small basic designs and or script tattoos. At any time you can get a small tattoo early when the studio opens. But asking for a large tattoo towards the end of our day will most likely not be able to be done same day.
Location on your body can greatly vary your time of getting a tattoo. Let’s say the design is script from your favourite book on your wrist. This area is very easy in comparison to other locations for the artist and for the client, and should be a much faster tattoo session. But this same exact tattoo size and imagery, let’s say on the ribs, can take even longer due to applying the tattoo and clients comfort as it is a much more sensitive area for most clientele. Regardless of area on your body our studio can facilitate most of any placements day of, this will hopefully help in determining what is possible for day of tattoos. Please always remember to dress comfortably and have appropriate clothing to help make you comfortable during the session.

It is to inform each person that walks in our studio to be prepared for each individual artists expertise in whatever style you choose. If at any time you are worried that your budget and the quote the artist gives you doesn’t align you may need adjust any of the previous mentioned items to suite your budget or save extra money to ensure you get the perfect tattoo you envision.
Artists availability as mentioned before can be a determining factor if you are wanting to get your envisioned design. Let’s say you want to get a realism tattoo for example, but the artists that specialize in this area are booked for the day. It is better to be willing to wait a day or a week to get this tattoo than trying to force the session that day.
